This isn't that big of a deal, but if it is, there's a mod to fix it for you. Tons of people have garbage on their desk or floor in their room, Shane's just messier than most. His room at Marnie's was cleaner, she probably cleaned his mess but he does work to change to be a better role model for Jas and better for the family and has a date with you and says this was thanks to you but once you marry him this is what you get, a slobby husband with not much nice to say and has a forever stained rug. Shane has a forever beer stained rug, his room has footprints, he won't do housework, its like a crappy relationship with a good for nothing guy that's not healthy for anyone, Shane is better than that, his marriage dialog isn't anything special either, talking about he will do the dishes eventually or whatever.
